Füsun Sarı

Füsun Sarı has been serving Umran as administrative cum Turkish language instructor since last one year. She is also head of department of Turkish language at Umran Green School and advisory member of Umran. She is originally from Turkey and a painting teacher at govt. school in Turkey.
Nahid Aslam
HR & Event Coordinator
Nahid Aslam is a professional social subjects teacher. She is of Punjabi origin and was born and raised in Scotland. Her areas of interest revolve around race and class, environmentalism, and social justice. In her younger days, she dedicated a few months to volunteer work at the Guru Nanak Home for Handicapped Children in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Nahid has been actively involved with Umran for the past year.
R Sachin Kumar
IT Manager
R Sachin Kumar graduated in Computer Science from Galgotia University, India, and has since honed his skills in web designing and web development. He currently serves as the CEO of Webultrasolution and WeDW companies and manages the IT department of Umran. Insha Qayoom
Financial & Communications Coordinator
Insha Qayoom, a resident of Kashmir, known as the City of Beauty, is a final year PhD candidate in the English Department at Kashmir University. With seven years of teaching experience, she has served as an English teacher. Insha Qayoom has been associated with Umran for the past two and a half years.
Rahul Kumar
Administrative Assistant
Rahul Kumar is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in German Language and Literature at EFL University, Hyderabad. He has been actively teaching German language at Umran for the past six months. Rahul is a dedicated and passionate learner who is constantly exploring new avenues in his field of study and beyond.
Saalima Khan
HoD, English Department
Saalima Khan is a research scholar with a keen interest in English literature, multiculturalism, multicultural literature, and culture and identity studies. Apart from her academic pursuits, she also has a passion for practicing fine arts, including painting, Arabic calligraphy, lettering, Islamic illumination art, and jewellery designing. Saalima is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, English, and has basic knowledge of Turkish. She has previously taught English at Umran for two years and currently holds the position of Head of the English Department at Umran.
Sibgatullah Shakil
Coordinator for Arabic
Sibgatullah Shakil is currently pursuing a PhD in Arabic Language and Literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Hailing from Bihar, he is passionate about teaching Arabic and making a positive contribution to his home state. For the past six months, Sibgatullah has been actively involved in teaching and coordinating Arabic language courses at Umran.
Faizan Ahmad
Coordinator for Spanish
Faizan Ahamad is currently pursuing a PhD in Spanish Language and Literature at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Originally from U.P., he has a deep passion for teaching Spanish. With over 5 years of teaching experience, Faizan has taught Spanish at various institutions and has received recognition for his outstanding work. For the past six months, he has been actively involved in teaching and coordinating Spanish language courses at Umran, where he has been highly appreciated by students and colleagues alike.
Supradeep Das
Coordinator, Chinese
Supradip Das holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Language and China Studies from Visva-Bharati University’s Department of Chinese Language and Culture (Cheena-Bhavana). He is currently serving as an intern at the Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) in New Delhi. Supradip has also undergone advanced Chinese language training for one year at Beijing Language and Culture University in China, sponsored by a bilateral scholarship program between the MHRD, Government of India, and the China Scholarship Council, Government of the People’s Republic of China. With his expertise in Chinese language and culture, Supradip has been working as a Chinese language instructor and coordinator at Umran for the past one and a half years.
