The Umran Green School (UGS) is a world-class, rapidly-expanding online language and culture school and non-profit organisation which aims to provide marginalised and underresourced learners with high-quality language education. The UGS is constructed on and inspired by the concept of Ibn Khaldun’s ilm al-umrān, Walter Gropius’s Bauhaus movement, and Bruce B. Lawrence’s barzakh logic. In pursuit of its mission, Umran Green School collaborates with a wide range of global organisations and expects to introduce degree programs in the near future.

The UGS has been teaching more than 10 languages since April 2020. So far, more than 3000 students and teachers from more than 42 countries have joined the UGS.
