Umran Green Perspective Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to empower women and marginalized communities, and promote environmental sensitivity through education and research. The foundation was founded by Rajeev Kumar and envisions a communicative society that inspires humanity towards peace and prosperity. The foundation is registered and has CIN, 12A, and 80G registrations.

Join our UGPF and make a difference! We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team to learn and contribute to our impactful projects.

No matter your age, background, or skill set, there is a place for you in our organization. Together, we can work towards building a better future.

Internship Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support

Administrative Assistant Volunteer/Internship:

  • Assist with managing applications, registration, and class scheduling.
  • Track progress of interns and teachers and maintain records.
  • Organize certificates and share information and announcements.
  1. Outreach and Engagement

Marketing and Outreach Volunteer/Internship:

  • Promote language courses and inform institutions about our activities.
  • Create engaging content for Umran’s social media platforms.
  • Conduct workshops or form clubs to engage communities and increase program visibility.

Event Organizer Volunteer/Internship:

  • Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Coordinate cultural programs of Umran Language Academy.
  • Research and understand the requirements of activities or events through student surveys.

Community Engagement Volunteer/Internship:

  • Interact with the local community to identify needs and plan relevant social and educational activities.
  • Inform people about Umran’s activities and advance connections between volunteers, students, teachers, and community members.
  • Connect with alumni to ensure continued involvement and contribution to Umran.

Volunteer Coordinator Volunteer/Internship:

  • Train and manage volunteers for specific projects.
  • Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure effective team collaboration and execution of the project.
  • Design projects and manage resources effectively.
  1. Fundraising and Communication

Fundraising and Grant Writing Volunteer/Internship:

  • Utilize fundraising and grant-writing skills to secure funding for social projects and activities.
  • Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals.
  • Research grants and fund opportunities.

Content Creation and Social Media Volunteer/Internship:

  • Create engaging content for Umran’s social media platforms to raise awareness and increase engagement.
  • Develop multimedia materials such as videos, infographics, and blog posts to highlight Umran’s impact and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize content and reach a wider audience.
  1. Research and Policy Development

Research and Policy Volunteer/Internship:

  • Conduct research on relevant social issues and policies to inform Umran’s advocacy efforts.
  • Analyze data and literature to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for social change.
  • Assist in developing policy recommendations and advocacy campaigns to address key issues affecting communities.

Mentorship and Support Volunteer/Internship:

  • Provide mentorship and support to students participating in Umran’s programs, particularly those from underserved backgrounds.
  • Assist in designing mentorship programs and workshops to enhance students’ skills and confidence.
  • Offer guidance and encouragement to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Evaluation and Impact Assessment Volunteer/Internship:

  • Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of Umran’s programs and initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and donors.
  1. Advocacy and Representation

Umran Volunteer/Internship:

  • Serve as a representative and advocate for Umran within the local community and beyond.
  • Promote Umran’s mission and initiatives to potential partners, stakeholders, and the general public.
  • Assist in organizing outreach events, presentations, and networking opportunities to raise awareness about Umran’s work.

Partnership Development Volunteer/Internship:

  • Actively engage with individuals, organizations, and institutions to foster partnerships and collaborations.
  • Identify potential partners and stakeholders aligned with Umran’s mission and goals.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with external partners to explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Coordinate partnership meetings, events, and initiatives to strengthen relationships and maximize impact.

Strategic Insights Volunteer/Internship:

  • Provide feedback and insights to help inform Umran’s strategic decision-making and program development efforts.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in relevant sectors.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders, volunteers, and participants to assess program effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven strategies and action plans to achieve organizational goals.

Duration: 4 months (16 weeks or a semester) 
Weekly Hours: 4 hours/Week Max (3 hours for task and 1 hour for event + biweekly meetings) Weekend works
Location: All positions are flexible and online (some programs require physical involvement).

UGS Teaching Fellowship (Languages) 

  • Teaching adult students for four months 
  • Having experience of teaching or having graduated in the language

Note: Please note that there is no monetary stipend available for this position. Our organization operates on a community-based model.
