About UGS Scholarship
The Umran Green School (UGS) is a world-class, rapidly-expanding online language and culture school and non-profit organisation which aims to provide marginalised and underresourced learners with high-quality language education. The UGS is constructed on and inspired by the concept of Ibn Khaldun’s ilm al-umrān, Walter Gropius’s Bauhaus movement, and Bruce B. Lawrence’s barzakh logic. In pursuit of its mission, Umran Green School collaborates with a wide range of global organisations and expects to introduce degree programs in the near future.

A UGS Scholarship will not be delivered to the student in cash, but instead be paid to UGS as part of the student’s tuition fees, ID Card and Certificates.
UGS language programs provide:
- Skill development of learners, helping them to secure academic and employment opportunities in their respective fields while encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.
- A particular focus on youth, especially women, rural and marginalized populations.
- Consciousness about shared societal issues relating to environment, women’s empowerment, humanitarian aid, and international collaboration.
- A particular sensability towards and awareness of the natural environment, our place within it, and its relevance to the global umrān.
- Cultural exchange and exploration via language learning, promoting an atmosphere of solidarity amongst various communities, nations, religions and civilizations.
- A culture of diversity achieved by bringing into communication motivated individuals from around the globe.
- Exposure to an international academic environment where English is the common language.
This Language Program has proven to be particularly helpful for girls and women who are unable to travel to other cities owing to restrictions, who are unable to attempt a course that is too expensive in the education market, or who have had to abandon their studies.
This Language Course is created in collaboration with the Umran Culture Program that includes a discussion on language learning and culture studies. The program consists of an open forum, education, lecture, social, cultural, and spiritual development training, and an opportunity for students to give a presentation with the help of our qualified educators. This program provides both urban and rural girls and boys, men and women, worldwide and high-quality knowledge, allowing them to communicate.
The UGS provides courses to applicants of all nationalities. The UGS scholarship is basically designed for both economically weak and strong students and for the students coming from rural and urban areas. The program and scholarship are open to applicants of any nationality above the age of 15.
Upon successful completion of the course, all enrolled students will get a certificate.

Since UGS is a non-profit organization that offers scholarships for this course, the course fees have been kept as low as possible to support the advancement and expenditure of the UGS Language program. We are also raising funds for a UGS Primary School for Children in Bihar.
