About the Program
At Umran Green School, we are committed to providing quality education to all, especially to marginalized children. Recognizing the importance of early language acquisition and its role in shaping future opportunities, we are launching a new initiative to teach English, Urdu, and Hindi to junior students from classes 3 to 12. Through this project, we aim to bridge educational gaps, foster social inclusivity, and nurture responsible citizenship among young learners.
Objectives:
- Provide quality language education to junior students from diverse backgrounds.
- Foster social cohesion and inclusivity by offering free language classes on a digital platform.
- Empower marginalized children with valuable skills for personal and professional growth.
- Create a supportive learning environment conducive to academic success and holistic development.
Implementation Plan:
Class Structure: Classes is divided into four sections based on age groups:
Section 1: Classes 3-5
Section 2: Classes 6-8
Section 3: Classes 9-10
Section 4: Classes 11-12
Class Size: Each class will accommodate a maximum of 20 students to ensure personalized attention and effective learning.

Note: English will be mandatory for all students, but students will have to choose an optional language, either Hindi or Urdu. Each section will be taught separately.
The curriculum will be designed based on the needs of students or according to government school books after we have received the applications from students. However, the general curriculum is as follows:
English Curriculum:
- Introduction to basic vocabulary and sentence structures.
- Reading comprehension exercises with simple stories and passages.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on daily conversations and expressions.
- Introduction to basic grammar concepts such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions.
- Writing exercises including forming sentences, short paragraphs, and simple compositions.
- Intermediate vocabulary expansion and comprehension exercises with varied genres of texts.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on discussions, debates, and presentations.
- Intermediate grammar concepts including tenses, sentence structures, and paragraph development.
- Writing exercises including descriptive essays, narratives, and creative writing.
Urdu Curriculum:
- Basic Urdu alphabet and pronunciation.
- Introduction to common Urdu words and phrases.
- Reading and comprehension exercises with simple Urdu texts.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on greetings, introductions, and common expressions.
- Introduction to basic Urdu grammar including noun forms, verb conjugations, and sentence structures.
- Writing exercises including forming sentences and short paragraphs in Urdu.
- Intermediate Urdu vocabulary expansion and comprehension exercises with Urdu literature excerpts.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on dialogues, debates, and storytelling.
- Intermediate Urdu grammar including verb conjugations, sentence patterns, and complex sentence structures.
- Writing exercises including short stories, essays, and poetry compositions in Urdu.
Hindi Curriculum:
- Basic Hindi alphabet and pronunciation.
- Introduction to common Hindi words and phrases.
- Reading and comprehension exercises with simple Hindi texts.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on greetings, introductions, and everyday conversations.
- Introduction to basic Hindi grammar including noun forms, verb conjugations, and sentence structures.
- Writing exercises including forming sentences and short compositions in Hindi.
- Intermediate Hindi vocabulary expansion and comprehension exercises with Hindi literature excerpts.
- Speaking and listening activities focusing on group discussions, interviews, and presentations.
- Intermediate Hindi grammar including verb conjugations, sentence structures, and paragraph development.
- Writing exercises including essays, speeches, and literary analyses in Hindi.
