Umran Green School (UGS) is a global education initiative by the Umran Green Perspective Foundation, committed to making world-class language learning accessible, community-driven, and empowering. In four years, UGS has reached learners across 52+ countries, impacting 4500+ students and teachers. Offering instruction in 10+ international languages from A1.1 to A2.2 levels, UGS awards scholarships worth more than ₹18,000 each to over 600 students annually, provides Teaching Fellowships to 40–60 graduates each year, and supports internships and administrative roles every semester. Each semester spans 14 weeks, with biweekly cultural programs enriching the learning experience.
UGS also sponsors U-Talk Magazine and Umran SLY Library, and has helped students and teachers secure Fulbright scholarships, Erasmus programs, PhD admissions, and prestigious job placements. Through education, culture, and opportunity, UGS continues to build a global community dedicated to empowerment and lifelong learning.

The UGS Language Scholarship is a prestigious language learning opportunity for passionate students who are selected through the UGS Entrance Exam. It covers tuition fees, course materials, and personality development training, with a scholarship value equivalent to approximately ₹18,000 per course. The UGS Scholarship aims to provide quality language education and certification to all types of students — especially underprivileged students and those from remote areas — helping them build skills and confidence through global learning opportunities.
UGS offers various skill development programs and encourages some students to volunteer to gain valuable experiences that can aid them in their careers. The scholarship also seeks to provide opportunities to rural girls and students who face financial and resource challenges in pursuing their educational goals.
UGS is committed to advancing this scholarship program to provide students with an opportunity to visit abroad to study languages or receive financial support, especially girls and boys from villages who face many challenges in pursuing their educational goals.
The majority of our language teachers hold language degrees or are pursuing Master’s programs in the respective languages. They bring valuable teaching experience, having followed the UGS Language Syllabus, ensuring a high standard of language education.
UGS has awarded certificates and recommendation letters to its volunteers, teachers, and students. Many of them have received prestigious opportunities like Fulbright scholarships, leadership programs, and further studies in the US, Turkey, and Germany.
A student may volunteer with UGS and gain valuable experiences and opportunities.
Languages: Korean, English, Turkish, Arabic, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian & Japanese.
Level: UGS teaches from A1.1, A1.2, A2.1 and A2.2 ( A1= A1.1 +A1.2, each lasting 14 weeks.)
Duration: Each Level will last for 13 to 14 weeks (or a total of 60 hours, including culture)
Class Days: Classes are held twice a week, 1h 30min each day (most likely on weekends or as agreed upon by teachers and students).
Note: Students must re-register each semester if they want to continue to the next level.

Cultural Program:
Culture programs are seamlessly integrated into the course. These programs are designed to enhance language learning by incorporating dialogues, conversations, poetry recitation, and discussions on language-specific cultures. This holistic approach provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the language. (Please click here to learn the guidelines.).
The UGS provides courses to applicants of all nationalities. The UGS scholarship is basically designed for both economically weak and strong students and for students coming from rural and urban areas to bring them into communication. The program and scholarship are open to applicants of any nationality above the age of 16.
